Attending this event?
Welcome to our online SCHEDuling site for EHI 2020. For those of you who like to plan ahead,  please use this site to explore the schedule for the day and evening sessions during the  week. For those of you overwhelmed with finishing the school year, know that you can explore the site and build your personal schedule for the week in the days just  before you arrive. In some cases new options will be listed during the week, determined by participant interest. The site is mobile friendly - when you have built a schedule, take it with you on an electronic device wherever you go. Each morning you will receive an email reminding you of  your daily schedule.  For those who prefer paper, print our your SCHED version and know that there will  also be a one page general schedule in your  EHI Discussion Dynamics book, issued at Registration on Sunday, June 21.

Morning Sessions
In order to build your schedule, you will need to know your required morning A and B class assignments. These assignments cannot be changed since we have balanced the groups in specific ways To find your classes, click on the first session listed and open the "2020 EHI Class Assignments.pdf ."

Afternoon Sessions

With the exception of one required A class session of math or science, the afternoon and evening time is free to use as you choose. After a long school year, this institute should feel restorative for you; we expect that plenty of learning goes on outside the formal classroom. Breathe, take a walk, take a nap or go to the beach. You might also find these times useful to read assignments, use the library, prepare to lead class, or attend a variety of afternoon optional sessions and evening events.

In SCHED you will find descriptions and sign-up opportunities for these sessions and events. Hover your cursor over the titles to read descriptions. We recommend that you review all the offerings before making your selections since most sessions are offered more than once; for those sessions marked limited, we will open multiple sections as demand requires. You will notice that Monday does not have many choices -- we hope that many of you will get your reading done in the afternoon so that you can attend the Hogan talk on Monday evening. In keeping with student centered teaching, if you have a topic you would like to discuss with other participants during the week, let one of the EHI leaders know and we will arrange a space and announcement for your session. Know that EHI leaders see meals and evening gatherings as opportunities to "continue the conversation" with you; we make a point of being available at those times and so hope to talk with many of you during the week.
